


Meet our Consultant
Dr. Andrea Loutsch
Dr. Andrea Loutsch is a veteran educator with nearly 20 years of educational experience. During her career, she has served as an elementary teacher, principal and college professor. Andrea's specialty areas include social-emotional learning and behavior management, special education and advocacy for students with special needs and their families.
Dr. Loutsch's research includes exploring an autoethnographical study in championing the inclusion of students with special needs and examining how personal experience, faith, and leadership identity shape an educator’s commitment to serving all learners. This work strengthened her ability to guide learners in developing reflective habits, understanding instructional theory, and applying research to real-world classroom challenges.
Andrea is an active member of her Northwest Iowa community serving on several community boards such as the LeMars YMCA and the LeMars Rotary, as well as sponsoring activities for the Miracle League of Sioux City and the LeMars YMCA in adaptive activities. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, four children, and puppy, and attending multiple sporting events and activities.
